I have finally updated gibbyTrip. The new version is 1.3.3. I have fixed the problem with it not working correctly on iOS 8. I have also fixed the problem where the GUI would lock up when buffering messages. There is still a small problem when going in and out of cell coverage. The GUI will become unresponsive for about 30-45 seconds. After that it will start buffering messages or uploading the already buffered messages. I have a fix for this that is working fine for the next release. I have some more code cleanup to do and then I will upload this version to the store.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thats right boys and girls, the first public release of gibbyTrip has been approved by Apple for sale on the iTunes store. I know you are in a hurry to go and get it so here is the URL that will allow you to download it 🙂
For instructions on setting up a spotwalla account please go to the gibbyTrip page.
I have created a new page for my gibbyTrip app. Head on over and check it out 🙂
I have added some screenshots of my gibberwoky app. Pretty basic stuff but I like it 🙂
Right before Christmas I signed up for free Gimbal iBeacons. I wanted to play with the technology and I thought this would be a good (and free) way of doing that. Last week I received three Gimbal iBeacons in the mail. I have only gone through the tutorials on their website but so far they are working as designed 🙂
Welcome to my iOS software blog page. Hopefully I will be using this page to update my journey into the world of iOS programming. I am but a lowly beginner programmer so please take it easy on my 🙂
